The Project
EURADRIA’s objective is to keep supporting mobility in the cross-border area, by ensuring qualified assistance to workers and companies.
The geographical scope is the cross-border region, comprising the Friuli Venezia Giulia region in Italy (NUTS 2 ITH4), 1.200.000 inhabitants, and the statistical regions of Goriška (NUTS 3 SI043), 118.421 inhabitants, Obalno-kraška (NUTS 3 SI044), 117.000 inhabitants and Notranjsko-kraška (NUTS 3 SI038), 53.100 inhabitants, in Slovenia.

The Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia and the four local public transport companies present in the regional territory Arriva Udine SpA (Udine), ATAP SpA (Pordenone), Azienda Provinciale Trasporti – APT (Gorizia) and Trieste Trasporti SpA (Trieste) are organizing a recruitment day to select candidates to be placed in the same companies. The companies are looking for staff for 70 jobs, as a driver for local public transport of people, urban and extra-urban service and as vehicle maintenance workers. They are also evaluating “aspiring” bus drivers (currently without a license), who can still apply as ASPIRING DRIVER for an initial interview and to learn more about the conditions of hiring and access to the regional expense contribution for obtaining the Driver Qualification Card (CQC).
